Both are pointless exercises really...
good to know. i might have a go at it , but like you said its almost pointless.

i did managed to get the tripwire kill, im now on 47 or something

I think I have only ever seen Closure used against me when I was trying to head back to the base in Artifact Assault - I can't see the use of it in any other mode really, certainly not worth taking up a slot for it.

Nice progress with the tripwire, you're nearly there. Blocking a pursuer is obviously simple. The blocking a target a little trickier - but simple in Artifact Assault. Just defend the flag throughout the game but make sure not to place it too close to the flag for your compass to stop working (then, technically, you do not have a contract, even though you can see your targets for yourself - ten minutes of killing about 15 people near the flag which then count for nothing is a bit of a pain.).

yeah i managed to do the tripwire challenge thanks to AA. althpugh its very depending on which map it is.

in my "challenge" profile set, i now have mute (needs 30 more mute+kill before its completed, not hard), and throwing knives. need about 30 for the artfull title. but its a real pain. Ill guess ill be stuck on it for a while.

In hindsight I made a slight mistake with Mute kills. The last challenge I had to complete was to achieve over 500 incognito wanted kills, and that is when I should have started the Mute kill challenge. You simply must have Mute when constantly going for incognitos to prevent your target contesting them. I could have killed two birds with one stone there.

I cannot remember what The Artful was for, but I assume it is the one where you knife a climbing templar. A pain indeed which relies too heavily on luck, and most of the time the guy knifed still makes it to the rooftop and only then does he writhe in agony. Although I am not a big fan of Artifact Assault, when trying to get the 9-kill streak I just camped in my zone and took out any intruders (only crossing over if I saw an easy stun). I thought knives were a must here anyway, but you will be surprised how many climbers you get here - those approaching the flag, and obviously more so, those running back with it. Luck is being in the right place at the right time...like the whole game I suppose ;-)

Finished MY VERY LAST CHALLENGE last night. Had all done but 2 for Usurper for awhile now, and got them both within 3 matches of DM last night with some mild effort in a goofy lobby (meaning I was trying to not win, but just stay even until the end, lol).
Glad they're done, don't feel like I NEED to do anything special in any mode now and can just play. And doing so I got a new best Wanted the other night, 12,350!!
The one's that took the most time hands down were some of the mode challenges (Corrupted, I hate you). All in all, it was kind a fun getting them all done, and was interesting finding ways to get obscure abilities to work and still find ways to win matches. Without soley focusing on challenges, but a significant amount of time I finally finished at prestige 20, w/ a win ration of ~59%

Awesome job Utriej! Now, if we can get LeatherKnight to get his last two done, that would be great. If anyone has finished their ACR challenges, please let me know and Ill add your name to the list at the beginning of the thread. I would like to see proof if possible so I dont add names that dont belong there. L8r

finally i got the artfull challenge. Played a lot of AA for that. Im now on 45 or something (im not at home so i cant check). i mainly have to do gametype now: escort, chest capture, capture the artefact, corruption.

Also, any advice for the firecracker and closure challenges?

For Firecracker challenges I played Manhunt exclusively. For the "use firecrackers and stun" it is easy to poach stuns on opponents who are in the process of killing your teammates. Run up, drop firecrackers and stun.

For "use firecrackers and kill" it will only count if the target has morphed or blended (I think). So if a target has just walked into a group which already contained a lookalike, then you will be out of luck. Best to drop firecrackers from a height (not too high!) to preempt the target's reaction of dropping smoke immediately. Am not sure if it works the same as revealing a target using morph ie. knowing which is your target anyway, locking on, approaching and dropping firecrackers, killing.

For Closure challenges, there is no strategy or skill whatsoever. Again it is easier in Manhunt as you have multiple pursuers and targets. For the "blocking" just simply use the ability as soon as it is available, no need to block the pursuer in or anything like that. If he is anywhere near a door and it closes, that will count. By merely waiting for the ability to cool down and activating it straight away, I would manage a minimum of 3 or 4 a round, sometimes more, and I would be totally oblivious about all of them.

For the "block and kill" it is just as mindless. Find your target and, a second or two before killing him, activate Closure and shut the doors. Simple as that. Both are a complete waste of time but take very little effort.

    Good luck.

are you sure about the FC not counting when the group isnt blended? cause in the description it just says: use FC to find your target in a group. it doesnt says a blended group (like it does with the morph ability)

I got dropped in a deathmatch with two minutes remaining and twice i killed my target after activiting clusre? but maybe it was pressed too late. i will try again tomorrow

The count on kills using firecrackers is very erratic -- some kills that obviously should count are not counted, other times it looks like some have come from nowhere. For that all I can say is keep trying -- eventually you will get them all. For using them to stun, the best option is to use them when you would get the stun anyway (manhunt is best for this) -- someone kills a civilian, drop firecrackers and stun. It is a waste of an ability, but firecrackers are really fairly useless for getting stuns.

For closure, getting it on defense is easy, just pop closure when a hunter is near you and a chase breaker is in range (only doors count as best as I can tell). You do not need to actually block the hunter nor escape death. On the offense side it is a little harder -- you need to kill the target after using closure (here I am certain that it only counts if you close a door). You do not need to actually trap them to make the kill, just have the two adjacent.
