Its 1942 and my 12th patrol, my fav hunting grounds are around cenral AM, almost every patrol i go up there, I find a convoy or have BDU report one to me. But the weather is always foul with 15m winds, heavy fog (300m visibility and precipitions.)

well, Im there now its only april, yet the sun is shining 0m winds no fog, sea like glass, its perfect deck gun weather !! and geuss what!
NOTHING! not even a fishing boat, hydrophone check every hour too!

So far I sunk a frigate on the way up then got harrassed by sunderlands for a few hours, (there were 3 of them so I dived rather than engage them...)

I want to go hunting near the east cost of the USA, to do that I need to trade my VIIC for an IX class boat (need enough fuel), to get that I need renown, to get that I need tonnage, and to get that I need - you gessed it - a CONVOY!

You don`t need a IX boat just be in the right place at the right time



Bottom right hand corner of grid AL , I find AM has too much air cover

If you have the world mod installed try sneaking in to Scape Flow.
You find almost the Brithish Navy there.
If that doesn't give you enough renown I don't know it either.
