okay I heard that whatever you choose as your equipment your whole team gets the same thing...but what if you need a sniper backup and the rest uses MP5s?

I thought of an idea to help with this. In the lobby, it kind of sucks that you can't coordinate with your team really.

Here's my suggestion...

While you are in the lobby, you can press the (white) button and if you do, all your voice goes to only the people on your team.

I think he was refering to campaing.

From what I have observed, wearing a gas mask causes everyone to have a gas mask. Going silenced primary causes everyone to go silenced. I do not belive going sniper casuses any change, unless you go silent sniper. I could be wrong on this, as I have not tried a sniper rifle in campaing yet.

what if lets say you need a sniper support when you go into a building, how can you have one person be a sniper and the rest carry MP5s or another gun

You can not modify what your team carries directly, unfortunatley. Silencers and Gas Masks are indirect changes. If you want a sniper on your team, you have to be it, and then use your team more agresivly than normal.

I played w/silenced weapons on one of the levels, and to the best of my knowledge/memory I do believe one of my teammates still had an un-silenced gun. I could be wrong so don't quote me too directly on this. I have however used a sniper and your team still takes what they desire.

if you choose a gas mask your team do not choose them..
