Thread: China not in EndWar? | Forums

  1. #1
Anyone find it alittle unrealistic that China is not in EndWar. I mean they already are becoming extremely powerful and their economy is in a huge boom. China will deffiantly be the worlds leading power by 2020 and yet they arent even in the game.
The art of war is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike him as hard as you can, and keep moving on.

This iteration of "Endwar" is between the US, EU, and Russia. DePlater hints that there is a possibility that there will be later releases along this new "franchise" which will take place in other countries. But for this one, it focuses on the north atlantic (usa, france, etc). You could probably expect china, maybe korea, and some different locales later. Check out IGN.com for the Q&A with D-Man.

Sounds cool. It would be interesting if they set up a story in the Asian theatre in this game so we could know what was going on in both theatres and then in next game put us into that other storyline

Well..you can find CHina in Red Star Alliance in Frontlines: Fuel of War. And about EnWar - I think that EU, USA and Russia - is enough for a beginning. In addon - China and MEC

I don't know if would be too much isn't the purpose for this RTS to be more realistic than others, so it would only seem natural to show the full global conflict but yea I see what your saying.

China might sit it out, and take oil when the U.S., Russia, and EU are weak.

This game takes place in Europe and North America, I don't think china would be in Europe (they would have to fight through all of Russia and Asia to get there), they may be in North America, but they would probably go for the rest of Asia then they could set their sites on North America. I don't think anything in the story said that it was limited to just these three factions, so there could be many other countries fighting each other all over the world (china included). Anyway, they need something for EndWar 2, and in one of the interviews they said that I future games they may expand to other areas of the world
