I have a fx 5700 geforce/nvidia video card. About every other month, this pops up,
"OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: AuthenticAMD PentiumPro-class processor @ 2112 MHz with 1023MB RAM
    Video: No Video

Can't find 'ini:Engine.Engine.GameEngine' in configuration file

    History: UObject::SafeLoadError <- UObject::StaticLoadClass <- InitEngine"

I have to fully uninstall & reinstall to get the game to open. Any help would be grately appreciated. Please email @ db4au@knology.net

It says no video, are you running as Administrator in XP, the problem is that it can't see your video card or something.

Try this first: delete your ravenshild.ini file (remember to backup) and then start game and let it create the default ravenshield.ini.

    alternatively try this:

Try uninstalling your video card drivers and reinstall them again, as listed below.

    1.
Uninstall drivers in Windows Control Panel, the drivers and the control panel for these(ATI only), sometimes they are seperate.

Reboot.

Use
cleaner program to remove all refrences and files drivers left. You can use other cleaners too.

Reboot.

Install drivers of your choice.

I got the same thing, but took some really bad advice, I deleted my game and my other 1's, CoD, DoD, and BF1942. even from the hkey_local_machine directory. but i also couldnt un-install RvS or Re-install it. So how do i get my games back? The only mention of RvS is n my Control Panel/add/remove programs, it shows RvS 1.56blah blah blah, at 1.56mb, where it should be at 2.05gb. I need help on getting it back installed. reply here or email me at mustangmonroe@netzero.com

If you need to reinstall RvS but it 'thinks' it is already installed, just find the setup.exe in root dir of CD1 and lanch it, it will install the game
    again.

Don't worry about the entry in Add/remove it will be overwritten.
