after 2 patrols in a row ive been given among others, a few 'uboat war badges' to hand out and each time it will not let me do it... i can hand out the other badges but no matter what type of personel i choose, it wont let me give it but it tells me to just drag it over there and place it...then if i leave that awards screen and come back it then says i have to finish a patrol... whats up with that? im on my 5th patrol right now.......

You're not the only one. For that specific badge it always wants me to "complete a patrol". Out of the 5 or 6 I've been awarded, I've only been able to hand one out.

I had the same problem and have found the solution. Dont drag and drop the badge directly, you need to drag and drop about a cm below the badge to actually pick it up. Just another small bug...

Grab it near the bottom left corner and drag. It must be orange and you have to have selected someone eligable. Worked for me, after missing a few times.
