Thread: Wolves of the Paqcific - Will it be reissued? | Forums

With all the problems I have been reading about with the initial release of the latest Silent Hunter Game (Wolves of the Pacific), is Ubisoft planning to issue a new version of this game with all the problems fixed?
If not then what do you expect a game player to do? But a faulty game and then wait for a stream of patches to fix problems?

1rcpilot@cox.net

That is the way it usually goes. 4 patches have been made but the last patch incorporates all the patchs. So, patch 1.4 contains all the corrections. One download and your done. Simple.

er.....ah....please name the PC game, out of the box, that was PERFECT. No patches. No glitches. No quirks. I'm interested in the titles so I can stock up my CD shelves.

no offense intended Glamuzina, but you kinda sound like a guy that used to come in here and complain about the game all the time.

It's an excellent game; patched and modded, it's a good game just patched and no mods.

It seems a reality that games from the west (I generalise) are incomplete when released. I take this trend from our big buddy - Bill Gates.
WHEREAS our bigger buddy Oleg Maddox refuses to release games until at least 95% tested.

What it really comes down to nowdays, is that most Devs are short changed by the investor, who wants everything for nutting. The Devs are people who are educated in this regard - the accountants of the investor.. are clueless

SO.. the whole community (wisely or unwisely) helps the Devs and investor to make the game PERFRECT for all to enjoy. This takes a bit of time, of course.

We like all foreigners - We have no problems with them ??
