im about 10-11 hours into FC2, and there is a mission where you must tag a load of gold for UFLL, and Guillen gives you a side mission in the form of kill the king, take his ring and give it to his son. Fair enough i did that. Then the son tells you that he sent Guillen to tag the gold and that i should go there. When i got there, i did not see guillen anywhere, so i wnet to tag the gold. Then i had to fight off the UFLL counter attack. id did that too. But when i went to save the game in the pause menu, i saw that guillen's picture was not at the bottom where it usually was. I checked the status of my buddies and it told me that guillen had been mercy killed. I did not do anything to her, so is this a bug, or was this supposed to happen?

I don't know if it's a bug or not, but your buddy has kicked it. Well, she wasn't too easy on the eyes anyway...

Er, this happened to me on that side mission where you have to give some convoy the wrong directions, then your buddy ambushes them. In the middle of it all I lost Paul Ferenc somehow...

I doubt it's some spontaneous bug, more than likely it's poor positioning or something that ends up killing your buddy.

You could go back a save and try again. Most likely yer buddy was injured while you were down that hole, and you didnt get out in time to save her.

If you re do it, after you come up, look for her in the area. if she's injured there will be a plume of blue smoke to show her location. You can choose to use a serrette to save her, kill her or leave her to fate. it's up to you.

BTW, if your on a PC, use the Qicksave/load buttons(F5/F9) its a lot faster than saving in the menu.

Yeah but worry all ur first buddis die like 30 or 40% into the story so u can't change it. U get new buddies they are the ones u take care of k.

after we kill the king and give the ring to the prince how do we keep the suv gift that the prince gives us or do we lose it?

Its a jeep drive it till its destroyed if you like or dont. Doesnt matter one way or the other realy.

Correct me if im wrong, but I think you can keep it for as long as you want in game, but if you park it somewhere and use any other vehicle or boat, it'll dosappear.

One other thing. There's only 2 ways to drive it away from that safehouse, one is down the path to a dock by a river, so that wont work. The other is down the other path towards a guard post, so you'll have to try and drive past it, or shoot your way out. Good luck.
