100 percent sure it's an academy Mage.

I have a sure guess - It is Master Gremlin - because I saw its Concept Art in the Game Land magazine. Whait a bit more and I'll try to reveal more info in my topic

what freakin gremlins?? I hated them in H3. they didn't fit in the tower (or academy in this case), as well as halfling or dwarves.

and they certainly don't even look like gremlins so I'm not really worried.

I think its some kind of academy creature, but won't guess what exactly.

Yeah I was guessing it was an underground cartographer because it was so close to that building and it looked like he was holding a spyglass thing.
But he does look military

Could very well be a gremlin... that looks like a zombie to the left of it, and it looks almost twice as tall, so the unit in question is a short one.

And it does have a robe similar to the one that gremlins usually wear.

But it does look like it holds some sort of club rather than any ranged weapon.
