cant connect to ubi.com for online multiplayer! | Forums

hello,

I updated to 1.1 and now when i go to online multiplayer it cant connect.

I opend the ports in my router whats in the manual.Only 19.000 i cant open in my router it says the port number is to big.

So i connected my computer straight to the dsl modem without the router and still i cant connect!!

please help.

hmm, i was able to connect last night.

and now i get that "cannot initialize the online" (great english btw).

which is just silly, and leads me to believe it is UBI's fault once again... in that either their servers are overloaded from god knows what, or the master server keeps cutting in and out... which I am inclined to believe.

chances are if you can start a LAN game, it works fine... speaking of which, maybe you guys would like to hop on Hamachi and get a game going on there... screw the UBI way :P

Yeah... good idea.
Hamachi seems to work like a charm.
You know, the only thing Ubi seems to have going for it is they own a ton of good franchises like R6, Splinter Cell... because they can't get multiplayer working well in any of them.
Also, "A" listed as "maintain depth" is actually the "Please Crash Me to Desktop" key.

well theres a hamcachi group i found ... looks like someone in germany set it up.

but join it up and we can play some games.
