    Any original "Silent Hunter" veterans out there? If so I was wondering if any of you computer experts found a way to intstall the "Commander Edition" on Windows XP or Vista?

    you will need an emulator called dosbox

    I've played SH1 on XP for quite awhile and though I've never used the dosbox app I know it works quite well.

    If you need a step by step guide, there's a good one here:- SH1 Win XP + DosBox

    It's what I used to install my Commanders Edition on the computer I have at the moment, I had no problems, and it works just fine.
