Hey, Sierra is advertising their upcoming game, SWAT Global Strike Team.... Ok, correct me if I'm wrong, but SWAT teams are local teams, and do not even involve themselves in out of state situations, and most of the times they don't even leave their city unless the jurisdictions around them do not have their own SWAT team. So having them travel the globe is not only inaccurate, and crazy, but STUPID as well.
What do you guys think??

--"General Hammond, request permission to beat the crap out of this man." -Col. Jack O'Neill -Stargate SG-1
--Capt. Carter: "You think it might be a booby trap?"
â â Teal'c: "Booby?"
--"I'm a bomb technician, if you see me running, try to catch up" -in Russian on a bomb tech's shirt from "The Sum of All Fears"
--"All my life, I've been waiting for someone and when I find her, she's a fish!" -Tom Hanks "Splash"

Yeah, inaccurate, crazy, and STUPID describe it fairly well.

I think Sierra should stop trying so hard with SWAT, just make a sinple, realistic SWAT shooter, even if it's less explosions and stuff, it'll be better than this crap.

SWAT: GST doesn't look two different from RS3 on the xbox. The graphics are terrible, the characters are more polygonal than a legos toys. If we have to choose between SWAT: GST and RS3(xbox), we all know which one we would chose .

Yes, I would choose Operation Flashpoint.

OFP isn't that great either. Did I ever tell you how horrible the armor and aircraft parts were?

This probably is a stupid question, but is the SWAT movie lisenced on the SWAT video game?
Both SWAT:GST and the upcoming movie are based on the idea of dumbing those well-trained and experienced tacticians down to run-and-gun rambos.

What happened to "SWAT:Urban justice"?
