Thread: Not the massive Sun Bug but micro glitches on the sun | Forums

    Do you have that too ? When I observe the sun, I notice little black lines on the sun that appear and disappear very quickly, it's not a game breaker but it's still a bug. BTW I have a Geforce 6800 with the last drivers.

    Yep, I get them too. 6800GT, latest official drivers.

    Doesn't really bother me or take away from the game. Besides, that has to be the most bland looking sun I've ever seen in a video game. At least the minor graphical glitches give it some character.

    It's a bug with activated antialias.
    With antialias these black lines appear and the glare effect of the sun is gone. Try to disable antialias and the bug should go away.

    same with my 6600GT. Shame we have to give up with the AA to get a nice sun effect.
