Thread: Extra bonus mission for the German campaign | Forums

    Basically my old German Falaise mission
    from the demo converted as an extra €œheroes Path€ mission.



    First Extra mission for the German campaign: 4-1-Falaise GR
    ======================================


    * 2 Tigers-I with each limited ammo and practically no fuel left and a Pz4g with broken track and infantry
    with a lot of other stuff (GR) versus 10 M4A3vc€s, 5 Willy AT's and infantry and other stuff (US)

    * You have to get fuel from the other vehicles for the tigers.

    * The Opel-Blitz-truck was captured by the US forces and is guarded
    close at your tiger location. You can retake the Blitz-truck which
    is loaded with repair-kits and special 88mm tiger ammo.

    * Your mission: Destroy all invading enemy forces.

    * New gray tiger skins included

    BTW, choose Tactics option (arcade mode is excessively easy)
    This mod will not modify your existing files (thus no need to backup your stuff except for the €œgame_progress.set€ files maybe or readme.txt "ooeps")


    DOWNLOAD (8 MB)


    Install: Extract the zip-file in your €œC:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Faces of War\€ folder!

    Make an entry in your "game_progress.set" (enable the mission) for the extra heroes path mission:
    In your "game_progress.set" file insert the following lines at the end!


    {"single/3/4-1-falaise GR:0"
    {passed}
    {completed}
    {outro "The operation failed. ... at Ardennes."}
    {stat "Enemies lost :<x(135)> 0 Humans, 0 Vehicles\nAllies lost :<x(135)>0 Humans, 0 Vehicles"}

    }



    More difficult version (Opel Blitz truck is better hidden and protected now which turns it into a hardcore version)
    DOWNLOAD (only "0.mi") (36 KB) (Replace the other €œ0.mi€ with this one)



    PS. You need to have the other German missions enabled too I guess.
    Sometimes load after save or exit command will not work properly.

    Mission name and description was set correctly (update: 4/10/2006 14:37u)!

    Little bug fix M4A3vc is 76mm not 75mm in the inventory! Anyway AI doesn€t care and shoot with both of the ammo.
