I don't care how good your maps are, if you post stupid crap like this, most community mappers and FC2 fans are going to make a point of NOT downloading your maps on principle.

well, unless you can prove your map is the best map ever made (good luck ) I suggest to not even try, except maybe if you like people to get mad at you

it's a bit different, but it made me think of a TSFP mapper who always claimed to build awesome maps, or masterpieces, and in the end his maps were only average and he was surprised to get bashed by some people.

Mapping is an artform, sure some ppl do it for popularity or cash, others for love and then theres ppl like me who just fiddle with it for fun.
You cant compare one map/mapper to another, the situation would be akin to saying leonardo was better than picasso because picasso has floating misplaced objects. Then Michelangelo will step up and say they both suck and his statues are where its at, at which point leo and picasso would both forum rage micky an tell him to stfu and ditch his noob platform coz all the best arts done on canvas and so on and so forth.

Try to stay away from opinions on forums but if you post your opinions, keep them simple and straight forward. Balance them out with something positive, don't just completely bash a person. Make sure your getting your point across through typing as if you were saying your opinion in words. I have seen alot of misinterpreting when it comes to peoples opinions on forums. Some people take things a completely different way than you might have liked.

But most importantly of all, like Dave said, Don't brag about your own maps!.

Especially when your expressing your opinions.
