Thread: Ragdoll & PC requirements | Forums

  1. #1
I hear all this stuff about knifes and shields and the way they are bad, but i think these are really cool.
One thing not so cool in RS3: RvS was the ragdoll. The guys were to stiff. Some real cool ragdoll-mods came up and i even made some myself, but it just wasnt right. How good will this one be? Like a pistol -in rb3- had the same impact as a shotgun. And a grenade WILL make some1 fly, but no they just dropped dead.
Another thing is the gore. No bulletwounds in rb3. Id like to see some real flesh ripping of the bones and ribs showing when you shoot some1 with a shotgun. I know its kind of nasty but at least its realistic. And maybe the guys should just be dying of pain and crawling around on the floor. Like you could immobalize some1 by shooting him in the leg. And when you shoot the arm they wont use it again. It has to be SO realistic. (I always wanted to say this)

And now, what would the pc requirements be?
I dont think my Athlon XP 1800+ will be able to handle this game and my GF 5700XT neither.

Having bones and limbs sticking out is kind of crossing the line. This isn't Resident Evil. However I do agree that RSE/Ubisoft should add some sort of wounds into the game. Preferably ones similar to those in Rogue Spear.

I'm sure they will look at the physics model and make improvements.

actually a gernade will not make someone fly. The shrapnel is what kills them, the explosive power wouldn't pick up a person and thtow them.

As for wound decals, why not?, but wanting to see bones and flesh ripped? Get some help.

the explosion from a grenade is like 3 yards. Shrapnel can kill you from 15 yards away but the near guarenteed kill radius is typically 5 yards. it sounds like your looking for the SWAT forums.

yes and being in the 3 yard radius means all they will find of you is little bits and pieces,

I'm not arguing for having nades removed from the game, but somebody give me a page number in the book where Team Rainbow uses fragmentation grenades.

I don't think it's beyond the realm of possiblity that a CT team like Rainbow would have increased offensive capabilities when their are in situations where hostages aren't involved.
