I've been playing this series since it first came out. It was good then and it's good now. Sure there have been some versions that weren't as good as others but I have been playing VEGAS2 for about 3 years straight now. It's the ONLY game I play. So I'd be glad to help the devs with the new game...Here's my critique:

As for as I'm concerned the game is perfect but I'd like to see the following from a future release...

It really gets to me when I'm out of bullets and I can't quickly pull out a side arm.

I love that when I throw anything - flash, grenade etc., you can't just whip it around the corner...you gotta slowly move your whole body out in front of the enemy and get shot.

I think weather and wind conditions would be a cool improvement.

This is asking a lot, but the ultimate would be if Ubi got a hand of the real weapons and did real experiments on them to get the EXACT recoil, accuracy, power etc of all the weapons. Realism is king

I'd like there to be a near-infinite amount of awards. But that's because I've been playing for 3 years and wish I could still earn things.

I don't like when the enemy runs unrealistically fast, and I don't like when the terrorists spawn in places where they can't possibly be. I understand why the computer has to spawn, but it needs to be logical.

Now that I've ranted about the stuff I don't like, here's the stuff that keeps me going back for more after three years:

The sound. The Famas, the Aug A3, the sniper rifles, the M468, with the speakers turned up it's just so great. I wish I could put all the extras on at the same time though (maybe after earning them) because there's no reason you shouldn't be able to put a scope on with a large clip, laser etc.

On the topic of sound, some games do it better...I think bad company rules the sound game. It's like watching a movie, you can even shoot buildings down. A destructible environment would be a huge improvement.

One thing I love is how much customization you can do with the clothes and armour although I think the armour is just for show. I wish there were a real difference in speed vs. armour. That would be much more realistic.

The graphics are great, although the characters don't always move gracefully, it's pretty good. I particularly like the effects of flash grenades.

The effects of being able to shoot through wood but not through metal is smart, but it's not really all that precise. If someone hides behind a car door in real life, they're not safe from an assault rifle, but are from most pistols. I would love more accuracy in material deflection. For example if you think someone is behind a wall in a house, you should be able to light up the wall and blast them. It wouldn't make it easier anyway, because you only have so many bullets and you would be risking alerting everyone in the stronghold.

Geeze I'm really rambling here, but I'm hoping the developers are listening. I'm open to helping out in any way too. I have many more ideas but I think I've put a lot here for now.

    Thanks for listening Ubisoft
    Matt

The things you would like to see in the new games would ruin it.

You're a serious fan of Vegas. This is the Rainbow Six Legacy forum. The games are totally different. In other words everything about vegas sucks, compared to the "Real Rainbow".

    Hi
    I kinda agree!
    As I posted befoe
"I have been a fan of the Rainbow six franchise
for quite some time now and I would love to see the next installment!
Even something as easy as a Rainbow Six Legends Edition would be great! (meaning all the maps from all the Rainbow Six game and only multi player and terrorist hunt!)
O yea and please as a favor to us old school hard core players drop the run button and add the left bumper as a quick select between the explosives and let us have unlimited re-spawns on attack and defend and let us choose which type of A&D we want like package or hostage escort but our choice on each map!
And get rid of ace's it sucks!
It is way too easy to get to elite!!!
    and no number for elite!
And something cool for elite would be not only custom camo but 1 extra attachment on your weapon!"
1 good addition would be that damage from a 556 round or 7.62x39 (AK-47)round is that damage for that caliber not different based on the gun!!!
    and so on!

mattyew, please delete your account and go play black ops or something, leave rainbow six to real men that have played it since the beginning of Xbox Live,, when there was a helicopter in the menu background, when you had to go to the dashboard to send a message to a friend, when we watched our flaming bodies fly off the roof into carnival rides, when remote charges were useful and took skill in placement, when there was a suicide room, when there was a showroom, when there was players yelling "hes behind the yellow car!!!!!", when there was RoC, SUP3R FRIENDS, Legacy, the coroner squad, SWAT 187, FTC, Cohesion. when you had to plan who grenaded large box room at the spawn because you didnt know where everyone would spawn, when there was no sprint, when you prayed no one died, when you had 8 frags, when you could crack doors only and inch open, when the G3A3 was the noob cannon, when you merced with a 92fs you felt like a god
