Sold to AMD/ATI in an effort to get better reviews since they have no @ss left due to Intel/Nvidia having eaten it for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the last 12 months.

I do hope that Tom's will remain an objective review source, but I'm sure if AMD/ATI has any pull at all with this transfer we will see Tom's become an AMD/ATI fanboy site.

Thunderbolt, were you just making a statement about the current state of ATI or was there actual involvement by AMD/ATI? I don't see anything related to amd/ati in the articles I've read.

If once [the people] become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress, and Assemblies, judges and governors shall all become wolves. " - Thomas Jefferson

Did anyone look at the DATE of that Enquirer article its from LAST APRIL!!!!!

There is also NO mention of AMD/ATI buying anything AND Toms is up and running fine and mention nothing of a buyout on their front page. AMD's processors still taking a beating in their forums every single day.

I had no problem whatsoever accessing the US version of Tom's Hardware just seconds ago.
Business as usual. No word of any sale there either.

See how fast people are to accept rumors as fact?

I made a tongue-in-cheek statement supposed to be bordering on humor relevant to the current status of the AMD/ATI camp. I didn't even read the article!

btw, I'm also able to access Tom's without issue.

I've been on TH during today and it's been problematic. I would say that has little to with its owner or rumours of a sale.

The hompage would load quickly whilst articles would take anywhere from 15-30 seconds to display anything and then in a poorly formatted screen.

    Internet or hardware hiccup, IYAM.
