Was worried about buying this game, but...... | Forums

I ordered this game the other day, I ordered a copy for me and my friend so we could play coop online together. After I ordered it I got on here and started reading the forums and started thinking that I should not have ordered it because with all the complaints on here I just knew that we would not be able to play the game or at least not have any fun doing so. He has a newer machine with vista I have an older one with xp, nither has a very good video card. well to make a long story short, we got are games the other day, installed and updated them. and are having the BEST TIME EVER PLAYING THIS GAME. RSV2 IS AWESOME. we hooked up togther with no problems what so ever. game plays flawlessly. the ONLY problem I see in the game is the two guys you contoll in the game gets in the way a little bit, but that is so minor. I really dont understand all the talk about how bad this game is. Maybe ..... well i dont know i just know it plays great for us and Im so glad i bought it before i read the post on here because i would not have bought it had i read these first. Thanks Ubisoft for another great game.

well first of all you are lucky that it runs without problem. But I have to say that this feeling didn't last long for me... playing more and more, I discovered lots of bugs that annoyed me so much that I don't play the game anymore...
Anyway, as long as it lasts, enjoy!

well luckey you, i still randomly lag when someone fires a gun, luckly the explosive part of that got fixed

i don't play it as often, only if i get bored of COD4 online(rarely)

Most of the people who "whine" on here either run or are in a clan. The online portion blows.

No clan here either!!

There are tons of bugs and glitches in both Vegas and Vegas 2 that Ubisoft has never fixed and likely never will!

Sure the game runs for me .. But it could be soooo much better if Ubisoft would just take the time to fix and finish it!!!

Take a look at the FC 2 forums.
They are having many of the same problems that were in Vegas 2, with some new ones of their own.

Let's see if Ubisoft does a better job with support for that game than they did with the Vegas series!!

The answer as to why there was no demo before the release is right there. No surprise.

Oh well, I forgot the ''official'' reason for the absence of a demo: ''No demo would convey the truly unique feeling of the huge sandbox game that is Far Cry 2''.

Vegas 1 was a dud but Vegas 2 is tons of fun online.

When you get tired of your Stoy co-op game .. try joining some Terrorist Hunt servers set at Realistic . High Density!
The terrible netcode will create a fun experince for you when you empty an entire clip into an Ai and it kills you with 1 shot from a Spas 12 from across the map!
You will also enjoy the extra challenge of clearing a room or area only to have the Ai spawn behind you in that same room or area.

Wait by a door or rope and stack up the intelligent Ai as they just keep coming to join their buddies in that heap of bodies you are piling up.
(Very realistic!!)

And don't forget to really enjoy the machine gun loop sound track (Left over from Vegas 1) that will entertain you throughout an entire level while you try to concentrate on where the enemy is!

Oh .. make sure you take advantage of all the extra bugs and glitches in the game .. they really add to the experience!!

It could have been a great game, but you haven't enjoyed the whole experience yet!!
