i have been working with that mod for faces of war a long time and it starts to be ready.
its not released yet but it will release at least before christmas.

This will be multiplayer mod, but im thinking to make little singleplayer campaing to this mod later..

At least the mod includes some multiplayer maps with enemies (also without them) so you dont need to play alone

So, it includes many nice things

-Many new winter maps
-Many new weapons like Suomi,L35, ukko-pekka..
-New country, finland witch replaces usa
-New soldiers with some self made skins and equipments
-Many weapon and explosive damage fixes, guns are more realistic now

i would like to see any new skins for tanks of finland.. i mean have you changed T-34 skin more suitable for finnish.. like those white and blue striped at the gun tower wich was used in witner war....

I have made the skins, but i havent changed them yet, ill post a pictures of finnish tanks when i have changed the skins.

Good... are you finnish your self? Oh and finnish soldiers should use Soviet and german helmets and those witner hats they have in one picture... That sweatshirt was bit weird though

yes, im finnish myself. I thinked to change the helmets to german helmets but i forgotted it, thx, now its done.

and about "That sweatshirt was bit weird though" all finnish soldiels like engineers didnt own wintercamos...at least not everyone, so i made them to have normal finnish clothes.

Hey, i made a list of things that mod includes.
Then, im not sure about my vehicle chooses, are they authentic ? Winter war was between 1939 and 1940. Every vehicle in my mod wasnt be intended yet i think, but i still hope that is not spoiling my mod. i dont know about tiger tanks and others so if somebody who knows more about them would tell me what verhicles wasnt be intended and ill remove them from my mod.

Finland was a kind of poor country so armies and vehicles wasnt be so great, but soldiers morale was


Finnish buyable vehicles (more can be coming) :

-Stug3 or perhaps not
-Some T34:s (Lootings from USSR)
-Bt7a (Lootings from USSR)
-Blitz3_6, motovehicle (i think them were bought from germany)
-Zis3 (Lootings from USSR, light cannon)
-PAK-40 (bring from germany)
-Degtryarev machinegun, (Lootings from USSR), im trying to replace this with maxim MG.
-sgrw42 mortar (Bring from germany)

Some NEW weapons in finnish army (more is coming) :

-Suomi konepistooli, smg (made in finland)
-L35/Lahti 35, pistol (Made in finland)
-Ukko-Pekka, rifle (made in finland)
-Ukko-pekka Sniper (made in finland)
-Im also working with Maxim MG and PST rifle.

Hi,

Nice looking mod you got there!

No STuG IV´s were ever supplied to Finland. However, a small numbers of the STuG III were supplied together with a small number of Pz.Kpfw. IV but these werent delivered until the Fins got involved in the Continuation War against Russia.

Other than this, great work!
