FYI the answers are in no particular order, and by no means do i mean to imply that these are the only important battles in WWII.
    Anyway:

Those are all very big turning points in WW2 but imo Raid of Dieppe was the biggest turning point of the War because with the knowledge that was learned from it the Allies were able to successfully complete D-Day. Anyhow I can't decide which one influenced the War most.

i considered adding dieppe, but since it was an enormous allied defeat, and the other battles were enormous victories, i decided not to.

I'm probably gonna say Pearl Harbour.

If Japan hadn't forced Americas hand, they would never have gotten involved in the war. Even if the UK had been overrun I doubt the US would have gotten involved unless Germany attacked them, and after that I don't think they would have taken the fight to a Nazi controlled Europe.

I would say stalingrad cos it got the ruskies thinking, and it eventually led to the downfall of germany that and countless germans and russians died there...

    bout 500000 American soldiers died
    bout 500000 British Soldiers died
and about 2.6 million russian soldiers died in the war

    Unbielevable isnt it...
Napolean had the Idea of invading Russia
    Like Napolean running saying

ohh im gunna kill them, gunna kill them gunna kill them...
then he runs back saying ohh its a bit cold, its a bit cold its a bit cold...bad idea

Then hitler thought he hada better idea
    So he ran in saying
    Ive got a better idea,better idea,better idea
    then runs back saying
oh no its the same idea same idea same idea...

so the moral of the story..dont invade russia without thermal underwear

If you read Russian post war military literature alot of their opinions are that Kursk was the turning point on the Eastern front, it broke the back of the Panzer divisions and inflicted losses that Germany never recovered from and the Russians plunged through the hole in the middle of the front.
Germany might have been able to stubbornly resist the Soviets for some time if they hadn't suffered such losses and had they fought the Allies to a bloody stalemate in the West everything could have been different!
Who knows, hypotheticals are always good fun!
