Lockon WIN 98SE and Cougar HOTAS Problem | Forums

Hi

First I tried the search option for a fix here and the search function seems to go quiet on me 'no results'.

Lomac is running fine on my system by the way but I am having no luck in getting LOMAC to recognize My Cougar HOTAS....In the option window in LOMAC I assign all the axis and LOMAC responds that they are working correctly but when I hit the FLY button on quick flight there is no movement while trying to use my cougar only the keyboard respnds. I also notice that the cougar is listed three times in LOMAC Device drop down window...Any suggestion?

I have configured my CCP for the Cougar in windows mode and foxy programming mode and no luck...The windows control panel does recognize the Cougar as well as the analizer ..

The cougar works with Falcon 4 MS2004 F/18 OIF fine with my current setup using Win98SE.

What Joystick file are you using, In the HCCP is the button GREEN? if not you will get nada most of the time. Also IN the game go into the Joystick TM folder and Del the cougar profile, go back into the game and it should be just 1.

I did a search for 'Joystick TM' folder..their is none.

Are you running Windows 98SE?


I also have the latest firmware and driver updates for Cougar

I removed all the 'read only' attributes on all files I beleive are retlated to input and that has not helped.

Where is the folder that list the Thrustmaster Devices 3 Times as viewed from the Options/Input/Device (drop down window) in the game?
