Any one else find night vision glaringly white? I've tried changing brightness from 5 to 10, but there are areas on the maps where it's too dark, so I switch on night vision and I'm blinded. AI appears as a white blob against a white background. I've got a X1600 pro with latest drivers, which i bought to replace a radeon 9500 as I thought that might cure it.Is it supposed to be that bright?
If I play with brightness at 5 then I find I almost always have to use NV, and at that setting NV is ok. But with NV on you don't get the eyecandy - dynamic lighting etc.
If I play with brightness higher then some maps I don't need NV but when I do it's too bright. Maybe I need a new monitor.. I've been looking for an excuse to buy one, if the AI was better Lockdown might have been it.
