I need help. Im trying to record peoples voices on MW2 so I can make a video about all the ******bags I come into contact with while Im playing, but the music and gameplay sounds are too loud; it's hard to hear peoples voices. How do I turn the gameplay sound down, but keep the voice audio loud?

I can't find a option for this anywhere. Like I know in Rainbow I can turn off the music and gameplay. Can this be done on MW2?

You could always attach a voice recorder inline with your headset.
Just use a -Y- connector. Then you can record what you hear.

LOL, I did a project like this once, though I did use a splitter cable and an audio mixer.

I think there is an option to turn down in game volume though, I was just playing over the weekend at a friend's house and they wanted to hear all the crapola people said in the lobby, and I remember fiddling with something, although now that I'm at my comp I can't remember.

Yeah Im trying to do this ghetto style. I just have my flip camera set up to film directly at my TV and speakers.

Im completely loss when it comes to doing anything techy. If you find those options again please let me know.

There's a game volume slider in the "Options" menu, second up from the bottom. Did you try that? I assume it doesn't turn down the voice chat options that you can set in your Xbox preferences.

I'm pretty sure there's only an all-purpose volume controller in this game.

Do you have Astros? On my mixamp I can turn the game completely down and listen to just the voice then you could record that sound probably through the mix amp.

Same here vball, I have turtle beach and I can get the sound from the headset perfectly. Over the speakers is way too loud and gives me a headache! Plus I can hear ppl sneaking up behind me! muahahah Now if I can only get Prod1gy off the stinking xbox so I can play the stinking game! Hes a Hogger! lol <3 you vball!
