I had Myst Revelation sitting around, unusable until I tried the following fix. It may work with other cards. RIGHT click on the Myst Revelation shortcut, go to PROPERTIES, go to the end of the text box on TARGET, then press the space bar once and type "-w" (without the quotes). This, in addition to the info on:

made the game playable.

Thanks for the tip!

To clarify a bit, the Target: path should look something like this:

"C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Myst IV - Revelation\bin\Myst4.exe"

The quotes are part of the path, and the -w goes after the final quotes, with a space before it.
