Hmm, got to say if you can't find it not sure you'd be able to use it.. Just press start button go to your programs listings, Ubisoft, Farcry, and run Cryengine Sandbox editor.

Also make sure you're up to date with patches.

There is a guide of sorts. Go to the main Farcry folder and look in Support folder and Manual folder.

As a mapper, let me just say that the manual put out by the Sandbox techs is the best I've seen as far as editing manuals go. Go download it fron just about any FarCry web site. There are also great tutorials. Recommend you go to the map making forum here on the Ubi forums. You'll get all the help you need there.

I didn't know you were. Have you created any single player maps available for download?

    I should clarify.
I had only started a FC map when I posted. As a mapper, I meant that as someone who has done a lot of mapping for other games, I can make the comparason that Sandbox has a good manual. I mapped for PC Gamer Magazine, from about '96 to 2001. They put my maps on their CD that comes with the magazine. I did 32 Doom II maps, 32 Duke Nukem and 17 or so Unreal maps, all in story sequence. The last series of Unreal maps were called: Duke4Never. I converted the Duke textures and made Unreal maps with them, including the key cards. At 15-20 hours per map, I guess I got a little burned out.

    Okay, thanks Cpt.

I have never made a map for any game so far, but I have also started to make a map 2 days ago. I've made a chain of islands and set a spawnpoint for Jack. Unfortunately the spawnpoint was somewhat up in the air apparently and Jack fell and then slid down the mountain somewhat, resulting in something like 5% health left, but he DID survive, so I consider it a good start.
