As I don't know what the Y axis mouse invert thing is, and it could be related, I apologize in advance if ny question is related.
(Oh BTW: Don't let your Myst V sit next to you in a box for several days then decide to install it until 2 am some morning... Haha. Stayed up till 7 am this morning! What joy!!!! What joy!!! Most time was spent cleaning computer, installing, reading, homework,
configuring Nvidia, game controls and gawking at the beauty of the game.)
Okay, done. I had to give flattery where it was due.
I was able to program my MS typical optical mouse to click on wheel and use Zoom Out for going backwards but somehow lost this setting messing around with mouse and controls!
1. I have the MS mouse program installed and I tried to be "program specific" as that's an option. I didn't know which file in the game with which to associate these settings with.
2. I tried all sorts of in game and out of game using alt/tab to try to arrange it so that left click is slower/walk, use wheel click on wheel to Zoom Out /move backwards, and right click is run or a combo of right/left is run.
Any clever hints? Yes, I've tried unmapping and hitting my mouse. Yes, mouse driver is enabled.
When mouse driver isn't enabled, there is no movement.
I am so tired after a few hours sleep, a little help would be appreciated and would probably help others wanting total mouse control vs WSAD/and other options.
This game begs to be played to the point of fatigue, thus, tired players want ease of use, if possible. (Myst V fatigue is also my excuse for not researching this Y axis discussion and any illogic posted by me.)
I thank you in advance for time spent on this!
I am thankful for Myst V!!![]()
