I would say that the forum morale is currently at an all-time low. Locking threads when there isn't anything else on the forum is a big blow to the bloggers that are actually still participating.

I don't think that he is mad about the formation of a chat thread(that was a good idea). He is mad that you locked a bunch of our threads all of a sudden. We haven't really heard from anyone representing the forum until now and it wasn't exactly a morale booster.
