I think it will end up working just fine and be extrememly entertaining. But im certain it wont be as good as it couldve been.

We see Fisher in civilian clothing in a restaurant's restroom, with a police officer behind him yelling for him to put his hands on his head. As the cop tries to cuff Fisher's raised arms, Fisher pulls a Jason Bourne and deftly flips around and disarms his would-be captor. A short Casino Royalestyle bathroom brawl ensues, with stall doors, mirrors, and sinks meeting the policeman's head at some point, eventually knocking him out. Fisher takes the cuffs, pistol, and radio and leaves the bathroom.

Outside, he notices another cop walking toward him, so he quickly pushes another door open to draw attention to it, then hides underneath a table. Then, as the cop walks past the hiding spot to check out the open door (which leads to a descending stairwell), Fisher sneaks up behind him, cuffs his right wrist to the handrail, slams his hand down to make him let go of his gun, then pushes him down the stairs, knocking him out. Fisher charges through another door to tackle yet another officer to the floor, then gives him a lights-out with a right hook. Before more policemen can join the fray, Fisher pushes a heavy serving station in front of a doorway to block entry. ''

This is what I was looking forward to in Conviction -amongst the other things we've been promised- if this isnt in the final game then I wont buy it on the grounds that I'll feel as though I've been cheated.

I know what you're saying Double O, they can promise us one hell of a game with all these new groundbreaking developments in physics and fighting and stealth and as long as they explain that 'that wasn't working so we had to take it out' we could well end up with Connect 4 in March with Red pieces being Sam and Yellow the baddies

Thats a bit extreme but I expect no less from you now, although I agree that if they cant now do what they said in the two web previews then they're looking a little stupid now

As far as H2H goes there need to be good stand up and ground fighting. Both should be quick and effective. I prefer to strike vulnerable areas such as kicks to the knees and ankle stomps and strikes to the temples throat and neck. The guillotine can be used for a neck brake as well as a choke by jerking upward till you snap the neck. Same goes for the rear naked choke by twisting the head and jerking upward. You can use your legs for leverage in ground fighting for a better effect. Also arm bars are very effective. A garrote can be used to silently remove a guard and you can place your knee in the back for leverage (Hitman 47 always uses his shoulder but this put your back to the enemy).
Here are some ideas I have not tested but sound interesting.

"Eyes:Use your fingers in a V-shape and attack in gouging motion.

NoseExtremely vulnerable) Strike with the knife edge of the hand along the bridge, which will cause breakage, sharp pain, temporary blindness, and if the blow is hard enough, death. Also, deliver a blow with the heel of your hand in an upward motion, this"ºwill shove the bone up into the brain causing death.

Adam's Apple: This spot is usually pretty well protected, but if you get the chance, strike hard with the knife edge of your hand. This should sever the wind-pipe, and then it's all over in a matter of minutes.

Temple: There is a large artery up here, and if you hit it hard enough, it will cause death. If you manage to knock your enemy down, kick him in the temple, and he'll never get up again.

Back of the Neck: A rabbit punch, or blow delivered to the base of the neck can easily break it, but to be safe, it is better to use the butt of a gun or some other heavy blunt object. Upper lip: A large network of nerves are located. These nerves are extremely close to the skin. A sharp upward blow will cause extreme pain, and unconsciousness.

Ears: Coming up from behind an enemy and cupping the hands in a clapping motion over the victims ears can kill him immediately. The vibrations caused from the clapping motion will burst his eardrums, and cause internal bleeding in the brain.

Groin: A VERY vulnerable spot. If left open, get it with knee hard, and he'll buckle over very fast.

Kidneys: A large nerve that branches off to the spinal cord comes very close to the skin at the kidneys. A direct blow with the knife edge of your hand can cause death".-THE ANARCHISTS COOKBOOK II
I also heard that a good clap or strike to the inside of the eye socket can kill.

Alot of that sounds cool and all, but most of it is total ****. Whatever they include should be stylish and brutal. But Id like it to be realistic as well. I dont know who wrote that stuff tha you quoted, but theyve obviously seen too many movies...
