Thread: Splinter Cell Conviction- Biggest Disappointment! | Forums

  1. #1
Im a big Splinter Cell fan and I was expecting a lot from SCC, especially after Double Agent. Maybe there maybe guys who like SCC but sorry guys I absolutely hate it. The reason I dont play "Shoot everything that moves" games is becoz im bored **** of them, and what got me into Splinter Cell was becoz it didnt belong to that category. I cant c why Ubisoft took this long(nearly 3 yrs, i think) to make this piece of crap out of Splinter Cell. I havent finished it but im sure im gonna give it for free to my friends kid who would love it.

So much in the game I can get through using stealth. It's not necessary to kill most of the bad guys.

True, im not saying there is no stealth, in fact using stealth is the best way to enjoy SCC still. But come on lets be honest, the previous Double Agent had a gameplay where you can finish a part in many ways all using stealth. I kept replaying the game just to try out different ways to completing the stages. Now lets look at SCC, the gameplay is very linear, with very few options at your hand for stealth and some places u HAVE to have a combat. Anyways ive gotten bored of the game, i just started playing yesterday, and im not gonna bother finishing it. Some much for my Splinter Cell days.

The story gameplay do not have a lot of options, which is weird...
But I have found that in Deniable OPS, there is more stealthy options than the story...

totally agree, the black and white thing is very annoyin, why cant we just stay in the shadows like before? the game requires less stealth since you can and must execute people often. they mixed in some assasins creed mechanics into the game. the older ones were alot better. officially done with this once very fun series.

OMG , somebody please stop these idiots from talking about stealth in conviction! If you EXECUTED people, is that UBIsoft's fault. Drop your guns and play h2h you cowards. Conviction offers both play modes, you either MASSACRE the whole lot or you simply do h2h with no gadgets and no rifles ON. Stop complaining and whining about stealth in conviction. I have played all 5 games just like you and loved conviction for its awesome stealth gameplay
