I'm not quite sure how to complete this mission... I cleared every Tesla facility, but it still shows a star next to that objective when I press select. Also, I've shot down the aircraft carrier yet the top of my screen still flashes 'CARRIER' with no health left. I've flown all over the map looking for anything else and can't come up with anything. Anyone got a solution before I shoot myself?

It took me 5 times of restarting the mission before it worked, that was extremely aggravating. Oh vell.

by chance do you know how to unlock special skins too? Can't seem to figure that one out...

Special Skins can only be unlocked in multiplayer.
You have to make 5 player kills (Squad/Solo) with a plane to unlock the Special skin.
It can also be unlocked by making 20 AI kills in Cooperative modes.
