Thread: Why don't they make more games? | Forums

Not more titles, but release more, as in production. A few months ago, I tried like hell to get BIA: RTH30 for the PC. The game isn't that old, but it was damn hard to find a new game because it was discontinued. Now, I'm looking for EIB for the xbox, and I can't find a new copy anywhere. Everybody has used copies. Why don't they produce a greater number of these games?

heres my thinking of the game supply:

they'll make just enough games to keep people satisfified, that way by the time the new game is out, people will be CRAVING the next BIA then bam, the shelves are empty and the company has a hefty little profit and gamers are again satisfied, and then the process starts over until the 4th bia, i think that why eib came out in the same yr as bia rth30, cause they undercounted and came up to short so they had to make the sequel quick or lose a lot of money, even in may of 05 it was hard for my parents to find
bia rth30 for my birthday, so i just think thats how the game cycle works, im probably way off or entirley correct, 50/50 chance i guess

Maybe they're not expecting someone to be searching for a new copy a year after the original release date.
