Thread: Mission Ratings... How do u injure rather than KO? | Forums

  1. #1
Ok i finished the game and now im going to go back and try to complete each level 100% but i was wondering i always forget how to injure them rather than KO them does anyone know how i can do that .. do u just not shoot them in the head with an airfoil or do u just run up to them and kick them with ur knee also i assume that sneak from behind and then choking them to unconciousness would be considered KOd well is there anyone else who can help me just make sure i know what im doing.
[COLOR:WHITE]LAMBERT - Fisher, we just pulled up Calestinia's last dry-dock report for the Maria Narcissa. They have a newly instaled central alarm system.
FISHER - [I] Dont tell me... three alarms and the mission is over? [/

I've never done it, but I assume if you shoot someone without killing him.

If you take the person to a ledge or an open hatch, and the drop is about one or two floors distance down and drop them down in there, the game will register an injury.

I got a 99% on the first level and couln't figure out how I injured someone. Then I remembered that I dropped one of the guys down into the cave that you crawl out of in the begining of the level.

    Hope that helps. Good Luck.

I've had people falling from high places count as a kill (perhaps depends on height?)--this guy fell pretty far...

And yes, if you shoot someone, and they don't die, they are medically considered "injured". This is much like real life...

Its basically when you deplete their health without killing them. KO's do not deplete health. A bullet to the legs, arms etc should only injure not kill and i think if you shoot a air foil into their legs or arms it injured not KOs but if you hit their head or torso it KOs. Injuring an enemy gets you -1% of success rating and injuring civilians get -5% of success rating

Walk up behind, grab character, pull L. The choking thing is the sleeper hold and it just makes them pass out.

Ya, I figured out that SCCT is more realisic with falls-In the first SC, when you're doing the CIA mission, you could drop the captured guy off a ladder 40 feet up and he'd be fine. However, when I tried to hide a body by throwing a body down an elevator shaft in SCCT, I got one kill. Too bad, I was so close to 100!

BiG, I've yet to hit anyone with an airfoil at any range in CT and not have them be knocked out. Very disappointing--I liked the stunned effect in previous ones. I'd use the technique to stun them and then run behind them to grab and interrogate them...
