I was wondering if it was possible to modify in some ways the AI both of the Tangos and of the Operatives without the SDK ? If anyone knows anything I would appreciate it if you could teach me a few things.
Thx...

Hi there,
I dont know if this is of any use to you. Its one of Becketts tutorials. This one is on Terrorists and Hostages behaviour.

There IS a way to change this without the SDK... Well, you can make your R6 Team mates a little more alert and the Tangos a little less "Godlike" at least. Maybe not a complete AI overhaul, but enough to where the game is more realistic and at least playable than it is now until the SDK comes out.
This is going to be my next project after the weapon enhancements.
P.S. - I thought I should expand on my explanation a little for those that don't know what I am talking about:
1) Tango AI is controlled through what are called templates. The templates correspond to specific maps. Each map has it's own Tango template so if you want to tweak the look and behavior of Tangos on say, Island Estate, you have to go into the Unreal Ed and tweak JUST that map's template and then save it (overwrite the default).
2) R6 AI is much easier to modify in the sense that you can't modify the routines -- like breaching and clearing -- But you can modify how well they see, how accurate and alert they are and how well they hear.
All the AI are essentially bots, and most bot's behavior is determined by things that ressemble human senses like sight and hearing.
The trick is to not make them "super bots" in where they take out everything before you even can blink an eye

Wonderful, thank you...I already did change Tango AI. But could you be more specific please on where and how exactly can i change the R6 team members stats?
Thank you in advance.....
