I'm patched all the way up to 1.06 and I'm not seeing any widescreen resolutions under the graphics tab in the options menu.
Has anyone else had this problem?

And if it was up to UBI, you would never see one. This thing they call a game is the worst console to PC port you have seen in ages but, Thang God for the modders in this community, they were able to come up with a fix.
If this is not in the STICKY posts you're going to have to search for the Wide Screen Tweak.
Good Luck

I'll do that, but I'm wary. I downloaded a WS patch from Widescreen Gaming Forum, but I think it's the reason my game keeps crashing at random.
Does this other one cause any problems?

Head over to the Useful Links Thread and get the squizzy res patcher, works like a charm
-
That's the patch I was using before and quite honestly my game keeps crashing at random. I think that patch was the cause.
-
After you installed the patch, did you adjust your WS on game options? if so, that could be a problem.
Set it up at your native res and leave it alone at Game options (I think it will set at 600 x 400).
-
I did just that, I left the resolution at what it was, 640x800. But the game just keeps crashing. I even tried a different method which was putting in a modified .bin file, but I had the same problem.
I don't think it's the patch though; why would it make a game crash?
If put my DXDiag info here, would that help?
When it crashes I get the infamous "R6Vegas_Game.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" and sometimes I get a message saying "The instruction at "0x0a8f4120" referenced memory at "0xbe4ccccc". The memory could not be "read".

The first thing I do when I have a crash while playing is to Uninstall my video and audio drivers and install a fresh copy of it.
Whether this is a sound advice or not is up to the Gurus to decide but it always seems to work for me.
It is also hard to say but UBI games seem to love to corrupt my drivers, be it the horrific coding of the game or what-e-ver... they tend to do that.

Alright, I'll give that a shot and let you know what happens, thx dude.
