Doesn't this violate copywrite laws? No unauthorized person can legally make money off of another companies product without permission. Even if it's free.

meh, if you don't want to download it and you're willing to pay some dude for a burned copy of a free demo... I really don't care, it's like people that sell dinner/hotel reservations to those last minute planners.

I wouldnt say its any big deal. Its free to download after all. Not everyone has access to high speed internet and if theres not a demo on a magazine then its the only way some people would be able to get it.

Back when Yahoo! Auctions was around there were people on there that offered to download any files off the net for people and burn them to a CD for a price. If you want something that bad and dont have broadband then someone will pay for it and someone will be there to take advantage of them.

As long as its being sold as a demo and they state that its the same one you can download (if your connection can handle a 500mb download) then theres no real harm in it.

    Hi Guys,

I thought over it a lot before posting it here.. my points why I'm posting it are:

    - nearly everyone knows someone who's got a highspeed connection

    - if not, there are a lot of internet-cafes where you can d/l something and have it burned to CD. and this also costs money

    - and the main point:
this guy has 500+ postitive feedback just by selling public available demos. it's not the feedback but the money is about more than 600 euros. thats not a favour he is doing, thats making profit with others intelectual properties..

you may not be convinced of that and may call me a squealer, but I think (as statet above) thats not okay..

    cheers
