I just want to mention something...

Please don't invite people to play a game without first sending them a message in the game AND getting a response that they wish to play with you.

Just because a gamer is online, doesn't mean they wish to play multiplayer and if you've not yet been invited, the person invited is given a big message box every couple minutes it seems informing them about the invite, however if they are already playing a game (I was in single player) they can't go decline the message without first exiting their own game, we all know how long that can take to exit their game and then load it again right?

So it's probably best if we send a message first, after all if the person is doing nothing then they'll see the message and can reply yes or decline it.

Thanks, I just think this is the most polite way of inviting people and really, Blue Byte should have put something in place that prevents the invite popup if the person is already involved in a game in my opinion, but of course made it an option so people can turn it on or off but unfortunately they didn't.
