Chased down 2 American Small Tankers from astern in a storm and thick fog using the radar. Suddenly a rear end loomed out of the fog and I took 3 hits before I could say "dive!" (There a rapid fire gun on these things?!) Whilst diving, I put the repair team to work and went to the scope. Just couldn't resist that fat-a$$ ahead and loosed a fish, but my heart skipped a beat when I saw the range was only 250m.

Downheartedly watched the Event Cam and saw the torp clang against the hull, port side of the churning screws. BUT THEN, the torp carried on, skimming along the hull, with me smacking my desk and shouting "arm you moron, ARM!" It exploded under the bow and the tanker erupted. Got the other one with a rear shot too.

Geez, I love this game!

I'm learning to love fog!
Last night attacked a convoy while on heavy fog. Man, I managed to outrun twice a destroyer while sinking a C3, T3, and a couple of C2. Unfortunately, the DD managed to get me while aiming against another C3 and sent me to the bottom; we were on surface, and he was astern me! So I was unable to overturn him! A glorious end for my sub.

well, fog is not so friendly when visibility is about 300 meters and the min distance for a torpedo is the same

Yessss....loving it here too....however I generally scream at the target and the waves (not that they are any easier to influence) causing the hull (this one specific time at least) to lean over just right causing the impact fused torp to aim for this really shiny stone on the bottom at first try, then pop upp out of range of my nicely aimed torp set for mag-depth during my second try....loosing patience I fire of 2 more torps both of whoom missed(ofcource....)...loosing more patience I decide to ram....not the best of options, but he'd made it personal when I'd been forced to spend 5 torps on him....Oh I forgot to mention it was a C2 straggler dead in the water from a convoy strike earlier on a just below perfect day ie. no deck gun alternative.....finally with serious hullintegrity faults I see myself defeated and straggle into port for a lengty refit....what I wouldn't give in renown for having the bows sawie-thingie replaced with a reinforced titanium one....or better yet as my friend and I discussed a circle saw on the bow....well one can dream...ahh ..

Right! Thatâ´s what I call an inmersive game indeed! Two days ago, I found myself whispering in a low voice "câ´mon!! getâ´im! getâ´im now!!" while attacking a T3 with my one left torpedo and a DD pinging at me like mad in the dark...when it finally impacted the tanker and a huuuge fireball filled the foggy night, I just screamed: "ALAAAAAAAAAAARRRMMMMMMMMMMMM" to get my sub to the depths as quickly as possible for the DD was already firing its guns to me.
Errrr...you can imagine my girlfriendâ´s face when she heard me shout like a fool while she was watching TV...

This was from a late night game. I was really tired. Suddenly the watchman calls 'Ship Spotted' so I go to the bridge. (300m visibility with fog). I almost lost it just turning around to get it. I got as far as "ALAR..." and then stopped. Doh!
