I got a question, can you use uplay. And redeem your codes, like the Codeofconviction etc. with Xbox live silver or do you need a gold account for that?

It has come to my attention, that many people on this forum are making the same mistakes over and over.
Asking the same questions, making the same assumptions and posing with the same issues as when ConViction was in development.
We need to draw from our past experiences. Only then, can we evolve as a community to something greater and more beneficial. Both for ourselves and this franchise.

silver is fine
You should be fine bro...AC2 worked fine on silver with Uplay
No reason why it wouldn't, it's an Ubisoft feature, not Microsoft, so all that's needed is an online connection.
As they said it will work fine, only thing with silver you wont be able to do is play online with friends.
Ok, what I am going to ask is relevant but it's not for the xbox 360. I want to know how does Uplay work on the PC version. Do you have to go the the website to purchase those unlocks or purchase in-game. I am really confused. I saw the 360 version and it is done in-game. And are the unlockable attachments or exclusive items gained in-game or Uplay or whatever? Are they all part of Uplay? I am really confused about how unlocks and Uplay work.
The more I play SCC, the more I think SCC and SCB are more optimized for panther and assault. Playing ghost is not really a fun factor unlike the old SC games. For that matter, I think SCB should at least be played panther or assault (not over use). We all hope SCB is more classic since it is still in production but you can't change the fact that the series is taking this way. Therefore, you play it the way it's meant to be played. Though, I am not ruling out ghosting in SCB, it's possible and can be fun but the game is more optimized for panther/assault.
Therefore:
SC1-4: Ghost player SCC and SCB: Panther/(Occasional)Assault
Overall: GHOST PLAYER
I think that the unlockable items and Uplay are one and the same. I'm not positive, but I think this because I saw someone upgrade their guns in the Gamestop SC:C video that was recently posted here and it said Uplay action completed when they did it.
Huh, ok...

UPlay is Ubisoft's version of Achievements. When you do something in the game that grants an achievement, like upgrading a gun, you get the achievement as well as a UPlay unlock. That gives you UPlay points so you can buy things from the UPlay store.
I hope that makes sense. It's not directly involved in the game, save for the things you buy from UPlay.
