*wonders how much commission Lethal is on*

re communication, ok so its not communication as such but in terms of feedback, community opinion etc for those who dont already know PoP released without DRM, thought some of you might be interested in that one

I don't know about anyone else, but I do not play Prince of Persia. Never have, never will. It is not a GR or R6 title. It is hard to say what will happen with sales of those when they are released without any sort of CP/DRM, but they need to be solid games (and original and not part of a larger story as it appears they are headed) to really test what is happening.

The backlash against FC2 is indicative of those not wanting to be considered thieves by those selling games and hopefully, Ubi is learning a lesson, but I seriously doubt it. They will use any excuse to "protect" their investment. That one excuse is piracy and it stinks of road apples when the games are garbage.

As group leader, I do earn some small amenities, but all is returned in the form of cabin upgrades and onboard credits to all in our group.

The last Prince of Persia I played was on the Turbografx 16 - Turboduo .. I think!!
The Turboduo worked with both cartridge and CD.

I prefer FPS on PC, but I originally started with RTS on PC and loved them, but now I don't have the patience to build up resources and huge armies to get the game moving.

I would still like Vegas 2 if Ubisoft would fix it .. especially the netcode.

For now .. we are all playing COD W@W.
Great netcode .. lot's of continuous action in co-op, and even Zombie mode is fun for something different.
No host advantage on a listen server even with so much going on!!!

Ubisoft should take a lesson from this game!!

PoP without DRM is a nice move. I'd buy it! Got the free, with ads, Sands of Time and liked it. But since it's Ubi, I'll let this otherwise great opportunity pass.

I've been biting my tounge for a while, but I've reached my limit...

@ Kleaneasy, just admit it already and stop blowing smoke up the community's bum. UBI is done with this game - it's painfully obvious. The writing is on the wall - it's been there for a while. Those who don't see it have their blinders on. UBI will in no way admit to abandoning this game (series) in regards to support even though they have no intentions to fix anything else. Seven months and a 93 page thread is testament enough...

UBI does not know how to communicate with their communities - especially this one. Just look at the page count in a tread begging for it and NOTHING has come of it. And don't say UBI is listening and point to new IP/games. Frankly it's an insult to everyone who has posted constructively in this thread. UBI has a monetary stake to make things look prettier with new game to increase sales. So naturally it makes sense to work with new games.

When you post it's always more of the same and "UBI's listening! Just look how much better it is over there" and you've lost all credibility with most people here. If you reply with something new (highly unlikely) I'll be surprised and I might take notice. However, I'm sure it'll just be more of the same disappointment.

@ everyone else. You are a great community. Supportive of those in it and many of you give selflessly to help others (the latest community fix for HS mode servers is a great example. However, it's time to walk away. Give up on this board, create a community/fan run portal similar to ghostrecon.net. It's time to look out for yourselves.

It's been long enough without anything from UBI to know that they given up on R6 Vegas and more importantly .... on you.

    Hmmm...

I am the one that has posted links to EndWar showing how the developers of that game have been having much better communication than what we had seen at any time from devs involved with Vegas series.

If you want to take that as an opportunity to not respect what I post here or my views, so be it.

    Now.

If anyone wants to see an example of Ubi again failing to get their message out, check this out from Far Cry 2,

I believe if you look at FC2, Vegas2, and Endwar, we have a case of one of these things is not like the other.

Well said Flim and couldn't agree more but I gave up on any form of real communication about R6 along time ago. But coming to these forums is like a train wreck, you just have to look.
