Thread: An Open Letter to UbiSoft | Forums

    Hello Ubisoft,I've been a staunch supporter & fan of your work since back in the day,may I call you ubi? What the hell is the deal with the Canadian release?
    I, believing you would not dunk your hand in kerosene, light it on fire & proceed to fist me, bought in the hype for this game when it was first mentioned... almost before the wii came out. Delay after delay... I stood strong & steadfast, stoic in the resolve that you & Suda51 were good people (corporate entities?) And lo, I preordered this game before the shiny previews & reviews as soon as I could. Not even needing lovely preorder prizes to do so (It would still help... you know)
    Then came the day, january 23rd (I remember it like it was a week ago) when I went to my brick & motar game***** to pick up my fix & was first told that I, living a mere 10km about the 49th would not be having any on that fine day, because the cheese-eating surrender monkies on the other side of the country need a separate instruction manual (I won't lay into you & your Montreal based dev studio... & its 'poutine martèlement pensées')
    Then came today... when out of nowhere there was yet another delay... another damm week... which brings me to the topic of conversation:

    What the hell Ubi? What the hell?
    I have since repealed my pre-order, I haven't decided if I'll attempt to smuggle a copy in anus from the states (That seems to be where you like to put in Canadians anyway) or wait to buy it used so you don't get any profit from me.

    Sincerely;
    Me...

    Seriously, considering Ubi has a Canadian branch a two week delay is ridiculous. Whoever screwed up needs a demotion.

    I agree, I'm getting really annoyed with game delays in Canada in general. We had to wait an extra month for Rock Band and now two weeks (or more, who knows) for NMH.

    But really the most frustrating thing is that there is never an official release date for these games in Canada, which means we gamers basically have to call game stores every freakin day to find out when the game is coming out.

    Is it too much to ask to at least have official canadian release dates??

    Not that I have the money for it anyway, but I live in the States and I haven't even seen the game around. Guess I'll have to take a trip to the mall if I want to buy this one - if they even have it.
