Are Ezios memorys Coming from Desmond or the memory core from Abstergo? | Forums

hay im just wondering if the memorys your playing throgh are comming from desmonds DNA or the memory core. this confused me when you come to sequence 11 and your told the file is corrupt. so this must ether mean Desmonds has a damaged section of DNA or that the memory core is used for the play back of ezios memorys. so any ideas an aif any admins or dev's are reading this plz help im just too confused lol

They are Desmond's memories. The Memory Core is to help Rebecca's animus sync up to the memories they want to view faster (as they search for them in the Abstergo lab) rather than having to find the memories manually which would have taken longer. Presumably, the corrupt memories were something to do with the merging of the code of the Abstergo memory core + Rebecca's animus.
