Thread: Final Ending thoughts and questions (spoilers) | Forums

So I loved the ending of the game; a stylish, emotionally charged and interactive sequence of events.

    A few thoughts...

    * What do you guys make of the two voices talking in the background as your destroying the trees? Obviously one of the voices is Ahriman, but who do you think the woman's voice is??? Could it be Elika's mother's voice? (they never said how Elika's mother died... did Elika's mother do a deal with Ahriman as well?)

    * What do you make of Elika's final quotes about "what is one grain of sand"?

    * Curious to get people's thoughts on the direction of the story in the next game? I think it's safe to say that the prince will be conflicted and dark since he sold out to Ahriman to save Elika? What will Elika's role be?

    Crazy implications for the sequel....

Just played throught the end again, nevermind on the question about the "one grain of sand" quotes at the end, that was the narrator's voice, not Elika's.

not sure what to say about it... he fell in love with her. he knowingly released ahriman even though it might upset her. he must have some idea of what to do later. it may turn into the concept from SOT where you can't change the past. you have to let things be and run their course, regardless of the outcome. though as we know, the prince is a good guy, and has a kind heart... but he's still pretty cocky and childish about quite a few things. we'll see how it turns out in the coming games. as for the female voice... i think it's just the idea of ahriman sorta being an embodiment of both sexes... male and female. implying that he can corrupt anyone. though we'll see about that later possibly.

uh... why would you post that in this topic??? it talks about the ending. well... assuming you're not reading the spoilers, i'd say this game. assassin's creed is good, but i think i enjoyed this one more. though, on the other hand, they're both really different from each other, so they're kinda hard to compare.

I loved playing the Prince while he released Ahriman. It shows that you are saving Elika, not just the Prince. The players grow to care about her throughout the game. Ahriman can bring it on in the next game, Elika and I can take it!

I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favourite thing evar on the Citadel.

ok that ending was incredibly lame. You go through the entire game to lock Ahriman away then make the same mistake as her father and release him again. Back to square one. It made the whole game feel pointless.

Could they not think of anything better than that??!! Seems lazy and cheap. They could of easily gone with the happy ending, find donkey she finds out the truth about him and in the next game allow Ahriman to escape.

Honestly I am very disappointed about this ending, it is not rewarding or satisfying at all.

If they are going to give an ending like that they should of given players a choice. Personally I would of left her there and went and found my donkey.
