    Hi all,

I got SCC about a month ago and have been playing the hell out of it. I'm now on to playing the Story and DO missions for form and Leaderboard points. I can't seem to find any published info on how those points are calculated.

Some things are obvious, but I have questions:
do you score more points for a Death From Above than say a standard Hand to Hand take down, or a stealth head shot from the 5-7?

Any thoughts or empirical input would be appreciated.

I've wondered about this as well. And does the search function on the leaderboards page actually work for anyone?

Are you guys talking about splintercell.com/match or did I miss something? If that one, well, it never actually functioned normally as it is not at all accurate. I went through all the single player missions like 6-7 times I don't remember, all the time with different aim in mind including no failure/restart + full stealth (where it is possible) and still on the site it shows maybe one of my worst walkthrough datas (with failures). The only thing that might be accurate is on the overview screen showing the played time, the enemies killed, and the first connection time. Otherwise everything is just incorrect so you shouldn't bother with the leaderboard. Searching for other players and the matchmaking on the website has never worked btw.

Yeah, specifically "g2w.ubi.com/splinter-cell-conviction/match/en/leaderboards." "Search player :" = my player name, then I tick "Searched players only" under the "Team" and I check out where I stand on the various levels, maps and game modes.

From reading this forum I understand the MP & stat systems are less than illustrious, but I was maybe hoping to get a bit more out of SCC by challenging myself to perform the missions closer to "perfect" in form, and was wondering what "perfect" might be in terms of scoring.

The no-weapons challenge is fun/hard, has anyone tried, all-weapon kills with no silencers?

I think getting perfect score in Conviction means clearing the levels without failures and being seen in the fastest possible time.

I did both (on the deniable ops maps) and it wasn't that hard (but maybe cause I played the hell out of this game. )
You should try doing the maps on Last stand mode on realistic difficulty, using only pistols and not using any gadgets, and all this by yourself, without a partner! Now that's a real challange! =)
(Actually there's a trick I used when I did all of them alone and if you know what I know, it's not even hard rather than boring :/ )
