Just out of curosity, what medals can you (the player) be awarded during your career? I've got the bottom three spots in my medals case filled (and with diamonds and oak leaves and all that jazz), but there are still spots for what look like medals....

You can get every medal that your crew can get. I have all of them except the one for wounds.

Well, how the heck do we get the upper level medals? I've got a bunch of renown, sunk about 4x more tonnage than the number 1 captain, had at least one 100K ton voyage...

I got the two iron crosses and the knight cross with all goodies but nothing else....it's strange that at this point with more than 30 patrols under my belt in late '43 and with the top score in the U-boat top aces screen I don't have the lesser medals like the front clasp and the war badge...

Just guessing....

I believe the order in which they are given is bugged currently. I recal seeing a mod floating around here somewhere to fix it though.

I am not sure how, but I got all 6 medals w/ max rating after about 12 patrols. Have not broke the 100k patrol yet. Sorry I dont have more....
