I can connect to matches fine, but I can't seem to host them. I can see people trying to connect to my game, but they're never successful. This is really annoying...
I'm running Windows 7, and I have alot of my services disabled. Are there any services that are required to host a match, but not connect to the internet maybe? I'm not sure really. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance...

might help if you let us know whether it worked on your old OS, ruling out your internet setup...

If you are behind a router, you will have to open the proper ports in order to host.
Most DSL modems have a built in router so you you have DSL, you need to forward ports in that and eliminate any other router .. or bridge your modem and pass control to your router.

I guess it could be a problem with Win. 7.
I have never tested V2 on that OS.
You could run a dual boot with XP, but not sure if you have to install XP first to make that work.
I ran a dual boot setup with a beta version of Win.7 on an XP system, but never tried running V2 on Win.7 .. Sorry!
You're welcome .. Sorry I couldn't help.

I have a problem like this in vista. I've forwarded all the PS3 and X box RSV2 hosting ports, but it says the're *CONNECTING* but they never connect, and eventually disappear

The correct ports for Vegas 2 PC are:
TCP 80, 3074
UDP 3074-3174
(Make sure you forward to the computer you want to host on)
Be sure to turn off your modem and router, and all systems on your network.
After a few seconds, reboot your modem and then your router .. wait a few seconds, and then reboot your computers.
Your router has to assign IP addresses to each computer so it can forward to the one you are using to host with.
Good luck, it seems to work for some but not for others.
