Has anyone heard about an investigation into UBISOFT about Sams weapons and goggle?

No.
SC-20k AR = FN 2000 MAWS
SC-Pistol = FN [something]
Just a normal army knife (not black though)
I am not a weapon freak, so I am not 100% sure about the abbreviations.
scworld is right.
TheSC20 is the FS2000 and it is a semi auto civilian version.
The pistol is an FN 5-7 and is also legal for civilian purchase.
Thermal and NV goggles by various manufacturers are also available and can be purchased by civilians.
I thought the MAWS was special forces only![]()
The FN F2000 is for agency use only.
The FN FS2000 is a semiauto version that is civilian legal.
Sorry if I caused any confusion, I guess I did not make that too clear.
I don't know about the goggles, I've never seen anything like them. Ubi probably made them up.
I play all the Tom Clancey games, for Rainbow Six, I just play Rainbow Six 3, for Ghost Recon, I play all but mostly Summit Strike, and Splinter Cell, only Chaos Thoery.

The goggles in their existing form in SC are made up, but they are baisically just a copy of real life night vision goggles. They just threw the extra modes into the same unit in the game so you didn't have to take off you NVG's, put on your thermals, take them off, and then put on your EMF... Not sure if there's a type of EMF or motion tracking vision adapted into a headset unit in real life, but the overall concepts of both systems are feasible.
jchung, I thought Sam had the full-auto version (F2000) in the game? When I simply hold the trigger down, Sam empties the clip.
HOWEVER, perhaps this is all irrelevent to the original post, as I'm not quite understanding his question. "...investigation INTO Ubisoft..."? What, that they're being sued by Fabrique Nationale or something? To that question, no--I hadn't heard anything.

Also, the Spy's gun in Multiplayer is a knockoff of a Fabrique Nationale P90, although the P90 is an actual gun and is not a tazer device like is in the game. The Mercs Rifle is an XM8, the shotgun looks like a standard 870, but there are many it could be, and the Sub-machine gun looks like a Mac 10, even though it is dubbed an Uzi, but I'm not positive about it. A 60 round Uzi? Or a 60 round Mac? Both are too fake to be true, but the sub looks like a Mac. The sights are spread out more, like a Mac 10 with a really freaking long barrel and 'slide'.
Hope I helped you. I might post some pics, just for reference.![]()

You are correct, but my post said the civilian version was the FS2000, and the Agency version is the F2000.
Like I said, my first post was not too clear. I clarified this in my second post. Sorry about the confusion.
