Hi
Got the same problem and con't find a solution. Though I can offer you a work around until UBI solve the problem.
When the game launcher dialog box starts login, you will see in top right hand corner two/or three buttons (settings, minimize, close).
Select settings (when the timer has finished), then select either YES or NO. It makes no difference.
This will allow you to play Hawx rather than getting kicked out.

Same problem here, though I'd like to add that it was a free copy after purchasing NVIDIA card for different computer. During install update froze at 100% and had to be force closed, which might have messed something up.
problem on:
Windows 7 x64, on ATI mobility 5870, core i7 720qm, 6gigs ddr3, asus G73JH laptop

SOLUTION:
Make sure you run the HAWX2.exe file as Administrator AND (while I did get it to work sparingly) disconnect any secondary monitor. I'm not sure if it wouldn't run because I have 2 monitors running at different resolutions, or what, but it runs EVERY TIME if I only have one monitor enabled and maybe 1/10 times if my secondary is hooked up.
To run as administrator:
right click on HAWX2.exe file-- probably in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2-- and choose "Run as Administrator." If you want to set it so it always runs as admin-> Right click on HAWX2.exe in the aforementioned directory, choose "Properties" then click the "Compatability" tab and check the box at the bottom under "Privilege Level" section that says "Run this program as an administrator" Click OK.

Tried the suggested solution (administrator), didn't change anything. Looks like others are having same problem, with any solution from UBI, and it's has been much to long with one (solution).

I know from experience even from HAWX 1 that if you have a DX10 video card and try to play HAWX 1 or HAWX 2 from the regular desktop shortcut it will not work. The reason it will not work is this: Just clicking on the default shortcut(i.e. double left click on shortcut) will start the game in default DX9(so older systems can still play) version. Having a DX10 video card(ATI 4000 series and up, and Nvidia GeForce 8000 and up.) It will file dump on a DX10 video card every time.(cus of the driver conflict's between old DX9 and DX10.)
The fix for this is simple: RIGHT click on shortcut and select "Play DX10-DX11".(left click once) You MUST do this for the game to run properly! I have no idea why UBi has not posted this yet... FAIL.
A little history on how I know this:
When I originally bought HAWX 1 I had an old ATI 1650Pro(DX9) video card. I just clicked on the shortcut and it would run just fine. Then I upgraded to an ATI 4850(DX10) video card and when I just clicked the shortcut I got a dump file error message.(every time) I found out after a little messing around that if I right clicked the shortcut and selected "Play DX10" and clicked on that the game would run just fine. Due to this earlier experience I automatically right clicked HAWX 2 and selected "Play DX10-DX11" and have had none of the problems you all are having now.
I hope this helps! Later J.
Later, J.

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried it but still had same error. I'm running Win 7 64 Bit OS, with Zotac (NVidia GTS250 Graphics Card). System runs fine with other games, but not with HAWK2. The game did run with previous graphics card, but with poor graphics. And initially did run with current card (several times). then this happened.
Help from anyone is appreciated.

I have the same problem when trying to play the HAWX 2 GAME HAD PLAYED IT FOR OVER 3MOS until this problem . I can only trace it back to the newer version being downloaded. I have paid a computer tech. to fix this problem with no luck. Also I have uninstalled this 8-9 hr. reload process 3 times. Also have loaded this on 3 completly different computers all to have the same message.
