I installed the game (download version) on a custom computer with an Athalon 64 chip, IDE hard drive and 1 GB of RAM. When the game runs on this machine it's like everything is happening in time compressed mode. The boat flys across the map, torpedos are super fast, it's acting as if the time compression is ramped up even though its not. Any ideas?

Install the latest version of DirectX9c ( December 2006 ) and maybe update your video driver?

I'll try the video driver, I already have directx 9c.
