I just got this game as a present so I decided to do some reading before I open the box. I read on Amazon.com about how you can't install the game if certain programs are on your computer.

I can't find the list of programs on the Chessmaster website, so how do I know if I will be able to install the game or not?

One guy said you can't install it if you have a combo drive on your computer. I only have a combo drive, so does this mean that I wont be able to install the game?

I want to make sure I can install it because I can't return it if it's opened.

You should, at the very least, attempt to install it. There's a very good chance it WILL work, and if it doesn't, post here again and we'll try to work out how to get it to work.

This is too good a game to just return (that's my... perhaps biased opinion).
